Таким образом считается последнее пройденное расстояние(если не поворачиваться)?
TW, стр. 108 писал(а):A moving target is harder to hit, and so an attacking unit’s to-hit number is modifi ed by its target’s movement using the values in the Attack Modifi ers Table. The target movement modifiers are based on the hexes traversed rather than the number of Movement Points spent. If the target moved backward and forward in the turn (regardless of facing changes), base the movement modifier on the number of hexes moved from the hex in
which the unit last reversed its movement. For example, if the target moved backward three hexes and then forward two hexes, the target movement modifi er would be based only on the final two hexes of movement, resulting in a Target Movement Modifier of 0. If the target jumped in the current turn, the player must add a jump modifi er in addition to the modifi er for the number of hexes moved.
Что означает improved position? Какие приемущества она даёт юнитам?
TacOps, стр. 198-199 писал(а):Given enough time, a defending unit can improve the natural defenses of the surrounding terrain. If both sides agree to use the improved positions rule, units that start on the mapsheet may begin the game in improved positions. Treat these field fortifications as a Light Standard Building with a CF of 15 (damage is assigned to them exactly like building hexes, including collapsing and so on). These positions do not affect LOS or movement, and a unit cannot climb on top of an improved position to increase its level. Apply standard terrain modifiers to any unit in an improved position. Units that begin the game in improved positions may also use the Hidden Units rule (see p. 259, TW).
Improved positions can be used by any player; if the controlling player moves units out of an improved position, an opponent can move into those same improved positions and gain their benefits. Improved positions cannot be used to make units hidden during a scenario, however.

102 писал(а):To receive partial cover, a ’Mech must be adjacent to a hex one
level higher than the level of the underlying hex it occupies, and
that hex must lie between it and the attacking unit. For example,
a ’Mech standing on Level 0 terrain is at Level 2 for determining
LOS. An adjacent Level 1 hex lying between the attacker and
the target would provide partial cover. The firing unit must also
have an LOS level equal to or lower than the defending unit’s
LOS level in order for the target to receive partial cover.
