BETA 02 RELEASE Изменений опять целый лист
NOTE: IF THE GAME FREEZES -- it probably didn't freeze. Tab over to the console window and you will see an error message along with a "Press ANY key to quit". Take a screenshot of the error message for me and post it in the #bug_report channel on discord along with as much detail as you can about what you were doing or had been doing before the crash. It will help me diagnose the bug.
As a general rule, if something in the game isn't working look over at the terminal window that's outputting debug info. There's a good chance there are error or warning messages in there that can help us debug the problem.
###### CHANGES ######
* NEW MISSION TYPE -- Distraction Missions!
- for these missions there is an undefended convoy waiting to move across the map
- you will need to find the enemy force on the battlefield and lure it away from the path of the convoy
- keep the enemy occupied until the convoy escapes, then get to the evac site yourself!
- by the way, you'll be forced to field a lighter and weaker force than your enemies so this truly is a raid
- don't try to engage in a fair fight or you'll go down... hit and run tactics, fast mechs, use terrain to hide!
- and don't just run into the enemy without a plan! be mindful of how you plan to lure them away from the path of the convoy
* Loading screens! (thanks to Kelfka)
- Using a neat AI image generator called Midjourney we've created a bunch of loading screens between missions
- purely cosmetic, and not perfect yet (work in progress), but a nice addition still
- Note that the CHI campaign uses images from CHR, to stay honest to the retro roots
* New Pilot Portraits! (thanks again Kelfka)
- pilot portraits in the career mode have been completely replaced with a whole new set
- the original CHI and CHR portraits are available in the Crescent Hawks Legacy campaign
* Character and Mercenary unit names in Career!
- when you start a new career you'll get to name yourself and your merc outfit
- you can now also select your main character's portrait
- contracts and reputation screens will now refer to your unit by name
* Salvage has been updated!
- when you salvage a unit the confirmation prompt shows you what you salvaged
- salvaged units are now immediately restored by a random amount, making them immediately usable in long-term campaigns
- salvage screen now lists battle units as well as units you didn't take into battle (reserve units)
- you can use salvage to repair units from either group, allowing you to repair reserve units in long-term campaigns to bring into the next fight
- dragging armor, internals, core, or weap salvage over a unit highlights the unit in green if the salvage can be applied (red if not)
- drop rates for mechs in salvage have been increased -- salvagable mechs drop rates have been doubled and for salvageable chassis drop rates have increased by 60%
* Mod Bay now sorts weapons/ammo into pages: Energy (lasers, PPCs, flamers), Cannons (AC and Machineguns), and Missiles
- clicking on the tab for each of these will bring up your select inventory of items
* Tech items now show icons in the mod bay
- icons are still really simple for these items (looking for artists to make better ones, hint hint)
* BATTLE GROUP SCREEN MECH CATEGORIES!
- when you are preparing to enter battle, the mechs tab now lists mechs by weight category
- you can click on "all", "light", "medium", "heavy", or "assault" to see different sub-lists of your available units
- this feature has also been added to the mod bay and the rpg status screen
* Battle Groups are now color coded in menus (Blue 1, Green 2, Red 3)
* MechWarrior 1 Campaign (thanks Androidandy for extracting all the game dialogue from the story)
- to demonstrate the flexibility of the menus and triggers the MW1 campaign has been recreated
- entire story is here, mechs are limited to MW1 mechs, mech icons are updated to those from MW1
- upon completion of the main story you will get a little surprise to help you on the Dark Wing mission
* News Net! (from MW1) added to career mode (thanks again Androidandy)
- available at ComStar... news briefs that update you on going ons in the Inner Sphere
* LOANS! Comstar is now willing to loan your unit between 10 and 40 million C-Bills
- if you're in a pinch you now have an easy option to get some fast cash
- interest rates on loans are compounded monthly, and upon entering Comstar each month you will be required to make your minimum monthly payment if you haven't done so already
- if you cannot make your minimum monthly payment you will be given one chance to get the funds: sell your stocks, take a big contract, go sell some mechs, you get one chance
- the next time you enter Comstar, if you again do not have the funds your career will be over (they will foreclose on your mercenary unit)!
* During contract negotiations you can hold SHIFT to scroll up and down faster when adjusting contract terms
- you can also use PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN now too
* Contract Negotiations Tip
- the contract window now contains a little tip, encouraging people to click on parameters and scroll them to negotiate
* In Assault missions after destroying the main target, enemies will do a better job of pursuing and hunting you
* In Defense missions, enemies will get distracted if you fight them
- this should make defense missions more doable... if any enemies slip by you they will go for the defense target
- but if you keep enemies occupied they will fight you instead
* Turrets!
- defense missions will ALSO now field NPC-controlled allied turrets to try to attack incoming enemies
- note that turrets can help a little but don't rely on them, they can't hold off the raiders alone!
* Contracts are now triple checked during negotiations to make sure ton limits and unit counts make sense (no more 3000+ ton limit contracts)
- at a minimum all contracts will allow you to deploy 2 units with a 100 ton weight limit
- at a maximum contracts will let you deploy 12 units and a 1200 ton weight limit
- for each unit you are allowed to deploy, a minimum of at least 30 tons of weight will be allowed
* Starting planets for new careers are now randomized
- you will always start on a backwater planet for your selected house, but the specific planet is random
* Mechs for sale on poor/small planets in career mode are now a little better (increased the max weight these planets can sell)
* All planets now have a low probability of spawning heavy or assault mechs for sale (even poor/periphery planets, although it's very rare)
* Factory planets now have better inventory of mechs for sale and decent prices (but don't try to sell a mech on a factory planet, you won't make much money)
* Star map files can now be modified with triggers, allowing you to use the same base map across campaigns, adding or removing worlds with simple mods rather than duplicating whole files
* Starting money in careers has been toned down a little (was bumped up a little too high previously)
* Solaris VII updates!
- betting parlor has received a facelift, when you go to bet on matches they will have titles and descriptions to add some flavor to the arena
- matches are now more varied in size and loadout for each force
- (side note, had to disable the grand arena event temporarily, may come back in a future update)
* Enemies forces now start with more varied skills
- previously forces all had the same skill level, such as regular or veteran
- now forces have more varied skills, with some pilots being more experienced and others being less
* Pilot injuries have been updated so that you will need to work a bit harder to maintain your crew
- pilots who lose all their health in combat have always had a 50/50 chance of dying or just being incapacitated
- however, now when a pilot is incapacitated their max health is reduced by 1
- furthermore, pilots with only 2 max health have a 75% chance of dying when they lose all their health and only 25% chance of being incapacitated
- pilots also now require 30 days (up from 10 days) to heal each health point
- and pilots who lose all their health and are incapacitated require 90 days to health back to their first 1 hit point (30 days per hit point after that)
* When one of your pilots is killed in battle you will receive a notification, mourn them well
- will also receive a notification if they're just incapacitated (injured and so out of the fight but not dead)
* Maps tileset file references are now adjusted by the game before loading them
- previously you had to ensure the tileset file references in your .tmx files were switched to relative folder references
- now, you can leave them as is, and the game will search for the tilesets in the tilesets resources folder or maps folder (depending on where you put them)
- this should eliminate tileset-based crashes for newly created user maps and make the game more easily moddable
* Stocks are now a little more complex, with a bit more randomness to them
* A handfull of new maps for mission contracts! (thanks in part to HydroSqueegee)
* Hatamoto-Chi's was missing its model, has been added in
fixed bugs
* Fixed a bug that cause units to incorrectly roam the map when no targets were visible if you clicked "engage"
- engage now only causes your units to move if they can see an enemy, otherwise they just stand still (this is how it was intended)
* Fixed a bug (I think) that caused units to get in "dance-offs" and wiggle back and forth at each other outside of weapon's range
- it was fun while it lasted
* On arctic battlefields heat sinks weren't operating any better than normal, fixed this so they're 2x as efficient on these maps
* There was no escort mission for the urban map, this has been added
* fixed a bug that caused enemy size descriptions in contracts to be inflated
* fixed a bug that let enemies shoot at the convoy even if they didn't have line of sight
* The Sentinel STN-3M was missing ammo for it's SRM-2
* Fixed a bug where you could have salvage rights but no picks to choose from
* Save games weren't properly saving battle group setups, so they were being cleared any time you loaded a game, this has been fixed
* Fixed a bug where new save games were titled "0" by default
* Fixed a bug where units were firing AMS directly at enemies as if they were Machineguns
* Numerous other tiny fixes
Основные моменты:
- добавлена миссия по расчистке пути, по которому пойдёт конвой нанимателей
- новые портреты пилотов (спасибо Mijorney и тому, кто с ней заморочился
)
